Christmas 2010

Lots of pictures in this post. Christmas was so much fun for us this year. It was just the four of us in our new house.  Great for setting traditions. (not that Evey could even tell thats what we were doing, but it was fun anyway!)

Our tree with all the presents under it.

Evey was excited about the presents (particularly the big one under the blanket) She kept pointing to the front room.

I don't think she was excited at all! hehe! :P

My chill baby

Christmas morning tradition #1, Cinnamon rolls shaped into a tree! (I didn't have the cherries to decorate)

Christmas tradition #2, eat breakfast before opening gifts.

Evey loved the cinnamon rolls.

Time for presents! She went right to this one and was like "OOoooo!" when it was unveiled.

So much fun!

I managed to get to to come over to open another gift (notice the fork in her hand?)...

but only for that second. She went right back to the kitchen.

Finally opening another gift. (this was a fridge farm magnet set)

She also got her very own cell phone!!

it was opened right away. We got another "Ooooo!" for this gift.

And back to the kitchen...with the new cell phone in hand.

Ellie got a glow bug. She loved to look at it light up.

hugging the new glow bug.

New pretty, pretties...with Tinkerbell on it.

She found my hat and put it on herself.

It got quiet so we went to look for Evey. We found her here, dancing to the Christmas music.

Ellie didn't want to be put down, so Mike carried her around for a bit.

My cutie sitting in the bumbo.
Needless to say, we had a good 1st Christmas here in Florida.  I made a TON of cookies and tried my hand at warm German potato salad (which turned out yummy btw)
