Evey's Yogurt Treatment

This is what happens when you turn your back for a second (to put clothes missing from child pictured below in the washer) with a bowl of yogurt.

Its good for the skin right?!

She rubbed it ALL OVER!

gotta cover the entire knee

needs more yogurt

hummmm...

Tastes good too!

Cherrios and Milk

Evey is always watching us these days. Which usually means we have to be very careful about what we say and do...she picks up on it quick.  She noticed that daddy would eat his cheerios with milk and of course she wanted to as well.

smiling for....well supposed to be me, but she's not looking my direction.

Oooo! Cheerios and milk!

Cheesy grins!!

taking her first bit

my awesome portrait shot of Ellie that morning!

Cheese!!

Evey likes to bring me my camera when I leave it on the couch.  She'll come to me saying "careful, careful", all while walking r e a l l y   s.l.o.w.  It's cute. She grabbed my phone one day since she's a smarty and knows there's a camera on there too. (and I had just taken a picture with it).

Random cute shots of the girls.

Ellie loves her cheerios!

Evey loves her "crunch" (she's eating peanut butter crunch here)

Evey was taking a "picture" of momma. Ellie just hamming it up.

Evey's saying "click" like the camera.

Here she is taking a picture.

This is Evey's picture she took of Ellie.
My girls are cute!

New Dresses

We got Evey some new dresses for church. She needed them. Oh does she look so cute in these! We got her 4 but I have yet to get a picture of her in the final dress. Very pretty as well. She liked (for the most part) posing for me in her dresses. I think we spent maybe $10 on all 4. Gotta love sales at Once Upon a Child!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Evey!!

On August 2nd, my little girl turned 2! I can't believe it! Evey is such a good girl...when she wants to be. She has become quite the helper these days and loves to pick up all the clothes on the floor (when i'm sorting them out) and put them back in the basket. She also takes things to the trashcan, gets me things like Ellie's passy or bottle, and is starting to get the hang of "please" and "tankyou".  Evey loves her "chocobunny" (a.k.a. chocolate milk) and daddy's yogurt and string cheese. She is growing up way to fast!  Here is our little sweetie on her birthday.

coming downstairs in the morning. She knew something was up when momma had the camcorder.

Her b-day gift. A slide/swing! She was thrilled!

Happy girl!

Ellie eating her cheerios, enjoying the excitement.

she was so excited, she even did a happy dance!

trying the slide for the first time...

AWESOME!!

back up to steer the boat

she had to take Mickey for a turn!

Ellie liked the swing but wasn't to sure about it

I did get a cheesy grin from her though!

That's better! Pillows make everything nicer!

Both girls together
Evey requested "castle" and "big boom" for her birthday. And who are we to refuse such a cutie??  So we took her to Magic Kingdom to see the Castle and fireworks.

Sporting her Birthday Button and Mickey sticker.

Us ladies in front of the castle

We all rode Cinderella's Carousel. Ellie held on really good! She smiled most of the time...except when the pic was taken!!

All by herself! Such a big girl!

With daddy, waiting on the fireworks. They were delayed but we were just happy they happened!!

Birthday Party!

On August 6th, we celebrated Evey turning 2 with a small get together/party. My friend Jenn made this awesome (and really yummy!) cake for Evey.

The theme for her party was Fairy's. Made obvious by Tinkerbell on her cake I guess :)  So I made "Fairy" themed food as well. It was lots of fun to think up!!  Of course I forgot to take pictures before we started eating! Oh well! At least I got them!

Chocolate Banana Tree Stumps

Mac-n-cheese Pixie Dust

Peanut butter and Jelly Butterflies

Ladybug Cheese (mini babybells that I cut the wax coating)

Ants on a log

Ham and Cheese Snails (super yummy! Add some powder ranch dip to cream cheese. Its awesome!)

Our friend from church Michelle (in green) came over with Parker (her son) and sister

Jenn and Cory's boys. They are such sweeties!

Of course Aunt Annie and Uncle Rob came.

Time to sing! Evey sang too!

She did great blowing her candles out!

So proud of herself!

She got a musical microphone to sing into from Annie and Rob

It sure was a singer! Hehe! She LOVES it!

Singing and dancing in circles

She's singing here as well. Too cute!!
I think Evey had a really fun day. And I had fun planning and making all the food! But I can wait for next year! I'm no where near ready for her to turn 3!
