Here is our trip to Idaho in pictures.

Evey is such a ham for the camera! Sitting on the couch.

It was nice and sunny outside, so we went for a walk. A bit chilly so we needed blankeys.

Uncle Dan found the doorway jumper for our little bouncer. She liked it cause it would let her sway from side to side.

Maicee was very curious about it when we first put it up.

I got to watch both girls when Jamie was at work and Mike and Dan were working on the house/car. Lunch time! I thought it was so cute having them sit side by side to eat!

Evey had a ball standing and crawling on the coffee table. Then she moved on to standing under the chairs! She would bonk her head. It was cute and funny.

While cruising around town, Jamie, Maicee, Evey and I went to the Idaho Falls Temple and sat in the grass. It was kinda dry and pokey, but Evey loved it and kept touching it.


On the long car ride home in her new car seat. I think it made it much more comfy and bearable.

Windows

We decided that the most effective way to solve our problem of Evey having the sun in her face when the sun was out (since our sun shades didn't fit the windows right and wouldn't stay up) was to tint our windows. It would have been to much of a hassle to try to do it ourselves so we found a really good, family owned place close by to do it. They did an amazing job! And fast too! I am so beyond pleased with it! Highly recommend them! Here's the finished product:

We are having so much fun here in Idaho visiting Dan, Jamie and Maicee. The weather has be absolutely beautiful too! Sunny and highs in the mid-40's. Which feels warm to the locals. Mike has been helping Dan a lot with work on the basement of their house, getting it ready to sell. I have been watching the girls. They are both so cute! Both like each other. Maicee, who I'm told likes to tease with toys, has been sharing really well with Evey. As soon as Evey is walking, I'm sure these cousins are going to have fun playing! We drove out to Sam's Club and Home Depot on tuesday. That was quite fun! At Sam's (which is a lot like Costco, just slightly different selection) we found the carseat we have been looking at for Evey for a good price. So now Evey has her very own "big girl" seat! She looks so little in it!! Then we hopped over to Home Depot. Dan got pipes for plumbing, fittings, and 3 doors. (two pre-hung and one just a door.) Good thing we had the Trailblazer with us! So we straped it all to the roof and started to drive. When we got to the highway, we heard this "whap whap whap" and Dan put his head out the window. He suggested that we pullover. So on the side of the highway we went. Dan and Mike ended up taking all the doors and pipes off the top and redoing the order that they stacked them. It was all kinda funny. They have put up a wall and are going to put in some doors if they have time. I'm so glad we could come out here to visit and help them out! Thats what family is for right? :) Yesterday the boys rotated the toilet in the bathroom. If you've seen their house, the bathroom on the main floor had the toilet facing the wrong way so you had to either sit with your knees against the wall or sit kinda sideways to use it. Now you can sit normal on it! Its sooo much nicer! We also went to visit Jamie so she could show me Porters, which is a big craft store in Rexberg. Awesome place! I found tons of cute ribbons for the hair clippies I have been making with Lynnette for our girls. And I got some super soft fleece called Minkie to make Evey some cuddle blankeys. yay! Today, the boys are working on the Passat to get it running again then I think they are going to go back to the basement if time allows. Jamie and I are going to her wards Relief Society birthday dinner tonight. It sounds like such fun! The boys are going to Wendy's cause they have $0.40 whopper jr's for the 40th anniversary here in Idaho. Sweet deal!! I'm sad we have to leave tomorrow but happy I get to see my BFF from Disney in Spokane. We are driving through Montana. I have not been in that state before so I'm excited to see it!! Thats all for now!

sorry to worry everyone. all is good. i'm just having some support issues with my family. talking to my mom will hopefully help me to clarify things.

Surprise!

I don't think I need to say much. The pictures kinda say it all.


Ok, ok. Yes, we are expecting...again! Evey is going to be a big sister! I'm sooooo excited! Its been so hard not to tell everyone and anyone about it. Both Mike and I wanted to be sure it was real before we said anything. And just like Evey, this one was kinda a "wow! that was fast!" pregnancy. I am about 8 wks along. The baby is due October 18th. EEEeeee!! On a fun note: these pic's where taken EXACTLY one year to the day that we got our first pic's of Evey...finding out she was a girl! How cool is that!? I can't wait to find out what this one is now!!

Cheerios!

We tried cheerios for the first time the other day! She doesnt quite have the whole grab with the fingers and put in mouth, but she'll grab at all the ones in front of her and shove her whole hand in her mouth. I guess in hopes that something will get in there, if its only just her fingers! She has started to get how it works, but we just started giving them to her. She even sits in her big girl seat at the kitchen table! She really likes that! And again, I'll get pics up soon! Sorry!!

its official!

We have a crawler! Evey has figured out how to move really well now. She is not fast at it yet, but i'm sure that wont last long! She is trying to pull herself up too! My girl is getting so big! I'll get pics up soon. I've just felt like "blah" this past week in the evenings when I blog.

Miyazaki

I love Hayao Miyazaki's films. They really are the best animated japanese films EVER! His films range from the really complex, 17+ to ones that are geared toward 5yr olds. I almost have all the Miyazaki movies that I want. Today we picked up his newest movie Ponyo and one of the ones that introduced me to Miyazaki, My Neighbor Totoro. Both are really good! Its going to be a Miyazaki marathon at the Heilmann's now! My all time fav one is Howls Moving Castle. OMG, if you haven't seen it.....let me know and i'll bring it over for you to watch! (i'll watch it over and over...its that good!) The music in all of them is awesome too. Each one has a catchy tune that you'll be humming/singing the rest of the day after watching one. Oh I really love Hayao Miyazaki films! AWESOMENESS!!!

Ok, i'm done ranting now. Just had to show my love for the H.M!

Teeth!

Evey has finally....after 7 months...sprouted teeth! Her two bottom teeth are coming up. When she lets me get a picture, I will take it and post it up here. But right now she wont even let me look at them. I can put my finger in her mouth and feel them but no looking I guess right now. She's so cute! It really makes her seem like shes growing fast now that she has teeth. I really cant believe it! wow! And she can kinda crawl! Thats so exciting and cute too! As with her teeth, when I get the video I shot of her crawling on the camcorder encoded for the computer (aka. made small enough to fit and be watched on a computer cause we have a high def. 1080p camcorder. love it but makes it fun to get stuff up quick.) I'll get it up.
