Lets give this a try

Evey has become quite the independent girl. She likes to feed herself these days so when we had noodles with sauce and yogurt for lunch, SHE wanted to do it! It was really cute to watch.

The noodles were slippy so the fork was "dropped" to the floor. Now its on to the yogurt!

And Oh was it good! So good, the fingers had to help the spoon!!

She's starting to get the hang of it. Good thing I stripped her to her diaper!

We hadn't cleaned out her bathroom yet, so the sink was the only option for clean up.

But I think she had fun with it :)

A few days after Evey's birthday she got her first package in the mail. It was a present from her best friend Norah in Washington! She was so excited!

Evey turned 1 year old this year! I can't believe how fast time has flown by!! It was a crazy time during her birthday because we had just moved into our new house in Florida and pretty much at nothing unpacked. But we picked up a really yummy lemon raspberry cake for Evey (we found the costco and while they had the HUGE chocolate cake they all seem to carry there, the smaller one was what we opted for so it wouldn't sit in the fridge as long...that chocolate cake is big! and with just the 3 of us.....yeah.) Even though it was only the 3 of us celebrating her birthday, I think we all had fun. :)

Time for presents! I had to help get her started, but once she figured it out....

She got a cool nursery rhyme book from Great Grandma and Grandpa.

She liked all the new toys but her favorite was the fridge phonics. She was so happy when daddy finally got it open! She had to take it to bed with her. (it made it too her room, but came back downstairs once she was in bed :) )

Bye bye Washington!

On July 26th, 2010 Evey and I said our final goodbyes to Washington and the people there. Well, at least until we come back to visit that is. We flew to Florida to meet up with daddy and finalize the move. Evey was such a good girl for the flights! She didn't cry at all. Thanks to my good friend Wendy for coming along with me! She was such a huge help! I couldn't have done it without her. Evey just loved having another person to play with on the plane. Thank you Wendy! Here are a few pictures from our travels.
