A SECOND INTERVIEW!!

Mike was going to call UCF monday since he hadnt heard anything but was going to wait until early afternoon our time. It turns out that UCF beat Mike to the phone! They want him to come out for a second interview! They are going to fly him out there for a May 18th meeting/interview. Hopefully some details will be worked out and this will turn into a full time job for Mike. We are still praying this works out so keep up the prayer if you are praying for us! We appreciate them!! More info to come on this when I know more :) Oh and pic's of my Evey cuteness soon too!

The Waiting Game

The one thing I really dont like about interviews is the waiting to hear the "yes" or "no". Mike has applied to like a bazillion jobs since he got his BS degree with only one staffing firm calling him. (staffing firms = yuck!) So I hate to say it, but I've been really riding on him getting this one at UCF. Its right where we want to live and it pays really nice. I want it so badly, its all I can think about and I'm praying CONSTANTLY, all day, that they'll want him. This would give us a path to follow. Something we both have wanted. FRUSTRATING~!!! On a positive note, Mike said the interview went well and it sounded like what he kinda did at Sharp, so he'd be a good fit...I think :) We will see how it goes. I'll keep everyone informed.

new name?

I should really rename this blog to All about Evey. It really is all about her, with a little bit of Mike and I's stuff put in it. I guess she is the most interesting thing I have to blog about. And its so true cause she is!! I wouldn't have it any other way! Besides, this would be one boring blog if it didn't have any Evey in it...thats for sure!

Stars!

One of Evey's favorite snack time munchies is her star puffs. She will devour them quickly and let me know she is out. So the other day she was standing at the endtable next to me and I gave her some stars. Here's how it went:

Isn't she the cutest??!! Best baby in the entire world right there! But I say that only cause I'm her mom. Hehe! :)

New Outfit!

Evey is starting to get big for her 6 month cloths. We have some 6-9 month stuff, but most of her long sleeve onesies are size 6. So we had to stop by the outlets to pick up a long sleeves to get her by till the warmer weather comes. (darn huh? :P) This is one, and I think the cutest, of the outfits we got. (we just got one other hoodie set thats light pink with a elephant on it and a set that has a long, a short sleeve and pants.) I love this one! Strawberry butt! Its still alittle big, but that means she'll wear it longer. :D She is just sooooooo ccuuuttee in it!

She finally gave me a good shot of her two little teeth! Now you can see they really are there!

Now all we need is Grandma Kris and Grandpa Joel to come so she can get more cute cloths! That and she misses them! Come on Gma and Gpa!! See this cuteness??? We need a visit!

Camera lovin girl :)

My baby girl absolutely loves the camera. Every time I turn it on she is looking at me ready to smile or be funny. Here are some shots of her hamming it up for the camera.










She is such a silly little girl! Its so hard to limit the amount of pictures I take because she does all that cute stuff! Hence why I have over 2300 pics of her already!

She's gonna start walking!

We got Evey a walk/ride-on toy recently. She loves it and is starting to understand what its for. She will crawl over to it, pull herself up and grab the handle. Really she likes to play with the rolly thingy that makes noise right there, but she will walk forward alittle with it. She is slowing realizing that this object is not attached to the ground too and will tip over. But we still have bonks.

Coffee Table box

Evey likes to crawl under the coffee table. She discovered a box with bibs in it under there one day. I could hear her playing with it and held the camera down to take a "blind" picture. (I wasn't looking at what was on the screen). This is what I got:
