Check this out!!

Hey guys!!

So I got this cool pencil sharpener to use and review! I've been using it and here's my thoughts on it!

Meet the Classroom Friendly Supplies pencil sharpener! It comes to you in a clear box so you can see the pretty color that you chose. There are several colors to choose from so you can get one that makes you smile. I chose pink (of course!)!

Here's what you get once its out of the box. The sharpener nicely protected by a plastic covering and the clamp to secure it to a table.

The company logo is on a sticker, stuck to the top. It can easily be removed but I'm choosing to leave it there because, not that I would ever forget where I got something so awesome, but just in case. ;) hehe!

Here's how it works! So super simple! Start with an unsharpened or need to be sharpened pencil. Since its a Monday that I started writing this post, I chose my Monday pencil!

The big shiny silver faceplate pulls out. Pull it out till it clicks in place and stays out.

Inserting the pencil is easy! Just squeeze the two black boxes together to open the "jaws" that hold it in place and thread the pencil through the hole and into the second hold you see in the body of the sharpener.

Now for the fun part! Sharpening!! As great as battery powered sharpeners are, theres something special about man powered ones. Its just more satisfying...in my opinion! Crank away at a steady pace. As you sharpen the pencil the shiny face plate will pull the pencil into the blades so you don't have to push it in. It does the work for you! How fun! You'll know your pencil is done when the cranking suddenly gets really easy (and the faceplate is back in place on the body).

Like this. Now its ready to be removed! Removing is the same as inserting. Just squeeze the two black squares together and pull the pencil out!

TaDa!! A perfectly sharpened pencil!!

If you have a location for your sharpener and you don't want it to get bumped off, it comes with a  handy clamp! Here's how it works! This is the clamp.

Theres a hole at the bottom on the front of the body. Insert the top part of the upside down L.

Now tighten the screw so the black plastic bumper is snug against the underside of the table/desk.

And there you go! All secure to the table/desk! No wiggle!

Overall, I am very impressed with this sharpener! The girls and I have sharpened every pencil in the house, its so fun! The parts seem very sturdy and will last a long time. The grip on the hand crank is large and long enough to get a good grip on to make it work. If you ever have a problem with the actual sharpening part, the black ring at the top of the handle where it attaches to the body unscrews to allow access to the blades. And of course, its fun to see all the shavings in the clear bin on the bottom (that easily slides in and out)!

I'm convinced this is one of the best desk sharpeners out there! Want to know even more?? Check out the pencil sharpeners from Classroom Friendly Supplies!!

Happy Sharpening!!!

2015 update, Part 3

July

The girls did not know we were homeless, they had so much fun living in Ohio with Gma and Gpa. We met up with a friend of mine from HS and went to the local Dairy Farm. They fed the goats, saw cows and ate ice cream.

We celebrated the 4th of July while in Ohio as well. We went over to my grandma's house and had a cook out with lots of yummy foods. Other family came too to celebrate.

Grandpa built a Tic Tac Toe board for the girls to play. They were thrilled! But not as thrilled as when great grandma brought out ice cream cones! We had a fun visit to Ohio, but like most trips, it felt over before we knew it. We needed to head back to Florida to close on our new home on the 7th!!

Heading home! The girls didn't last long!

We stopped by GA on the way back to celebrate a late 4th with Tim, Livvy and the boys. It was only one night but the girls loved seeing their cousins again!

On July 7th, 2015, we closed on our second home! Yay we got the keys!

And I got right to work making a few paint color changes! The girls room was a DARK blue. While it was nice, it was just too dark and didn't scream my girls, so I asked them what they wanted.

Found this guy in the stones on the fireplace. He's our fireplace friend! haha!

The girls enjoyed exploring and discovering all the new things about the house. The first being a balcony!! Then it was all the puddles from the rain!

This is our first night in the new house. Since I already started painting their room, the girls slept on the floor in what they called "the tree room".  The next day, we rented a uhaul and started bringing over all our stuff from the storage unit. We filled the garage! Sophie liked finding all the little nooks to crawl into.

Break time for Gpa!

Storage unit is clearing out!

Of course the place to play was right in the middle of the kitchen, in front of the garage door. Sigh, girls. At least they were entertained!

When we got the keys and moved in, Sunshine and Paul surprised us with this plaque, candle and soap. I think its PERFECT and love the sign soo much!

The girls where torn between pink and purple for their room, so momma did both!

Only a 1/4 of the backyard. I love all the green and trees! Feels like an oasis compared to the Sanford house backyard!

Not too long after moving in, it was Cow Day at Chick-fil-a. So I did my best to dress the girls in white as cows to get free food. It worked!

Oh I love the white kitchen! This I can work with!

The girls met the neighbor boys (one on each side of us actually) and they gave each girl a band bracelet. Instant friends!

Organizing and unpacking was put on a slight hold because we got new carpet for the bedrooms! I love it so much more than the black!

The older two got a bunkbed! We also got a new mailbox because the old one was so weathered and broken, it was time to go. Love the new one!

With a lot of work, and much determination from me, the very last day of July, I got my van in the garage! Yay it fits!!

To be Continued.....again.. :D
